Topic Food Biotechnology – Immune System
What happens in the body when consuming nutritious foods? In addition to be digested by digestive enzymes and absorbed as a source of nutrients, nutritious foods also undergo the influence of gut bacteria. This interaction leads to the production of various metabolites, which, in turn, interact with the intestinal tract, exerting various effects on the body. In this webinar, we will introduce innovative techniques assessing the impact of food components on the body as well as technologies for the efficient development and production of beneficial food components.
